Big T District Happenings
By: Tammy Deterts, Maintenance Tech, Visitor Service
Our district has had many changes over the last few months! Let’s see if you can follow allow the journey with me…
In July, we lost our Maintenance Supervisor, Shane Fraser. We were sad to see him go, but wish him well in his new adventures. Rick Goltz transferred from Carter Lake to replace him and has been a great addition to our team!
The first of the year, we finally received a full-time position in the maintenance department. I am super excited that I was hired into that role! Also, the first of the year, we split from being Blue Sky District and became the Big Thompson or “Big T” District again. This was a tough change as we had become a close team.
Shortly after that re-districting, Steve Gibson, our District Manager, moved to oversee Horsetooth District. Another tough change, as Steve was well liked here and made many positive changes. He continues to be missed; however, we are super excited to have Zach Cook as our new District Manager in Big Thompson District.
Through all the challenging changes, I am grateful to have a strong and team bonded group of people to work through them all. It takes every one of us working together to make this a great place to work and provide the best service to our customers. The new season is shaping up to be an exciting and great one!
Thank you to all of you for being great supporters and making Natural Resources an awesome place to work.
