Wildlife amazes

Recently, my wife and I camped at one of our favorite campgrounds, Pinewood Reservoir.  Our arrival day had been very windy.  The wind calmed a little during the night, but the next morning was absolutely calm.  We decided to sit outside and drink our coffee when we heard some elk calling to each other.  We soon realized that three elk were swimming from the west shore of Pinewood Reservoir to the east shore. 

We have seen many unique wildlife events, but we have never seen any elk swimming across a large body of water!
